This is a very tasty way to eat green beans. The lemon and garlic add a wonderful flavor to the beans.
Ingredients:
1 lb. green beans, trimmed
2 tsp olive oil
1 large garlic clove, minced
Fresh lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Drop
in the green beans and blanch for 4 minutes. Drain and set aside. In a large
skillet, heat the olive oil then add the minced garlic and saute unitl fragrant, about 30 seconds. Toss in the green
beans and a few squirts of fresh lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper. Saute unitl heated through, about 2-3 minutes, tossing often.
