Spicy Avocado Sauce


This is a fantastic sauce! Good for taco night, a dip with veggies and chips, or served over crab cakes as I did tonight. I have included the link if you want to make your own crab cakes. I on the other hand took the easy route and bought fresh crab cakes from the seafood counter at Fresh Market.

1 ripe large avocado, pitted
1 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 fresh Jalapeno or Serrano pepper, (including seeds)
2 tbsp. milk

In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth.
