Hi. Thank you for visiting my blog. I started this blog to share with you my collection of recipes. They are not all my originals. In fact, the majority come come from family, friends, and other sources. I will share with you my personal touch incorporated in each one. In every post, the original content will be referenced at the bottom of the page. Please feel free to leave a comment or question you might have to any particular recipe and I will get back to you.
I have so many ideas and recipes I want to try but I have a few limitations that stand in the way of my kitchen creativity.
TIME: I don't have much free time, but whatever time I can find I like to spend it in the kitchen cooking or baking.
SPACE: My kitchen is so little. I don't have much counter space. Finding a spot for the cutting board or an outlet for the food processor sometimes requires some rearrangement.
MONEY: There are so many elegant dishes waiting to be tasted but will have to wait a little longer until we can increase our weekly grocery budget.
AUDIENCE: Currently my family are my taste testers, victims of all my creations- the wonderful, not the greatest, and the never again. Thank you for enduring all my flavors, loves! I do not repeat recipes very often for there is so much out there still to try. It may never end hence my quote "endless simmer" (hopefully not always in a small kitchen :)).
I find great joy in cooking as well as photography. I hope to use this blog to practice both. I hope you enjoy this journey with me not only in the kitchen but also in life.
Enjoy!
Dalia, I can't wait to try the roasted broccoli! I love that you're doing this.
ReplyDeleteHi Dalia! I came here looking for the recipe for the Chicken Parmesan I saw on a picture on my first visit to your blog. I looked all over, only to find that there's only a photo of it under Travels and no recipe! (The words 'So Yummy!" added cruelly to the caption ;-) I discovered some truly interesting recipes - I will just have to try the cinnamon macaroni and the roasted broccoli sounded so good (mentioned in the previous comment) that I looked for it until I discovered it under seafood! No, don't worry, you're not getting your food groups mixed up, it was entered as part of the roasted salmon recipe :-) Thanks for sharing your adventures in the kitchen! Take care! Madelé (from South Africa)
ReplyDeleteHI Madele! My sister made the chicken Parmesan when I went to visit her. I will get the recipe and dedicate a separate post just for you :) Also, I better make a separate post for the roasted broccoli as well because it is truly delicious and needs to be found easily! You will love the cinnamon macaroni, I promise!
