Spicy Sausage and Sweet Pepper Pizza

The spicy and sweet combination of the sausage and peppers makes this pizza so delicious. The crust, as always, is perfect and so easy to make.

Ingredients:
Yields: 1 pizza

Pizza dough

Pizza sauce

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Crushed red pepper flakes

2 uncooked Italian sausage links (I used sweet Turkey Italian sausage)

Red and yellow peppers, thinly sliced

Fresh arugula

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Prepare pizza dough as directed. Remove sausage from casing and sauté until cooked through. Top the dough with the pizza sauce, sausage, crushed red pepper flakes, cheese, and then the peppers.

Bake for 8 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few moments. Slice and top with fresh arugula.
