Lemon Sorbet

My best friends enjoying Lemon Sorbet!

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 tbsp grated lemon peel

In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir the sugar and water until  mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, stir in lemon juice and lemon peel. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. Transfer to a chilled container and put in the freezer for at least 4 hours before serving.

    It's just your first recipe, but when you have a dozen recipes, it will be a very impressive page and even more if you make us a habit whenever you post new (and feel free to post any and all of your back stock of recipes. i love your blog, the personal touches (like the shot of the girls in this post).
