Ingredients:
1 cup almond flour
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup white corn meal MIX
3/4 cup sugar (I use sugar in the raw)
a pinch of salt
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup whole milk
2 ripe pears, sliced
1 carton blackberries
Ah, love.
Ah, love.
Directions:
Mix flour, corn meal, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir. Add the melted butter and milk. Stir. Pour half the batter in a buttered Pyrex. Layer the fruit. Add the rest of the batter (sometimes I add a fourth more whole milk to this half) on top of the fruit. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
