Turkey Bacon Cheeseburgers



Ingredients:
olive oil
4 slices turkey bacon
1 lb ground turkey
2 green onions, chopped
a handful of cilantro, chopped
1/2 tablespoon chipotle chile powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
zest and juice of 1 lime
1 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper
2 slices pepper jack cheese
2 hamburger buns

Directions:
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium to medium-high heat and add the turkey bacon. Cook until crisp, 3 minutes on each side, drain on a plate lined with a paper towel.

Combine the turkey breast, green onions, cilantro, chipotle, paprika, salt and pepper,lime zest and juice. Mix the turkey breast with seasonings and form 2 patties. Place in the pan; cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Top with a slice of cheese and 2 pieces bacon. Cook for another minute until the cheese melts. Place burgers on buns and top with arugula, tomoto slices, mayo, and/or whatever other toppings you like.
